ABOUT

   For those of you who have stumbled onto this website I would like to give you some information about myself and the website.

 

   I called it Norman Finn brush and pen.com because of what I do almost every day of my life.

 

   Since I more or less retired in 2010 I needed to find a new life. I had spent the better part of my working career designing footwear and apparel. It has taken me around the world many times over.

 

   There is a complete resume on the website. I always had a pencil or crayon in my hand since I can remember. My writing ability was apparent throughout my collegiate and business life. I seized the opportunity to tell the story of my life when it was time to retire. I wrote "Life in Shoe" when that was completed a friend of mine gave me some Italian drawing paper which started my art career. I've been developing both areas of creativity ever since.

 

   I put my ten thousand hours more than once, I reached a level of expertise to show at a leading Boston gallery. I continued my writing with three other books and another on its way.

 

   My daily schedule centers around painting every morning and writing in the afternoon. I guess you can say that's the current story of my life.
